ASI and Business Russia developed a joint plan of anti-crisis measures

Approved by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI) and the public organization Business Russia, the joint plan of anti-crisis measures includes informational and educational activities on the opportunities for foreign economic activity in the new conditions, the development of proposals for measures to support Russian companies and foreign companies that have decided to stay in Russia.

In addition, it includes holding joint events, organizing business missions to friendly countries, as well as cooperation through BRICS, the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).

"Consistent explanatory work on the management of foreign economic activity in today's situation, the search for new niches and areas to build international cooperation – the key goal of the planned series of events. Today we must unite and consolidate our capabilities to provide the best conditions for doing business with foreign partners," stressed Nonna Kagramanyan, Vice President, Head of the Executive Committee of Business Russia.

The joint anti-crisis plan includes a series of educational webinars on current opportunities and programs to support domestic exporters. Their purpose is to provide businesses with information about opportunities for foreign economic activity in a new environment, new markets, and potential partners. The first webinar in partnership with the Russian Export Center was held on Thursday, March 31. It was attended by 40 companies from different Russian regions. Business Russia member companies, ASI infrastructure projects, and regional companies were invited to participate.

"In the current environment, our common task with our partners is to show the business new opportunities and prospects, set up a dialogue and establish the necessary chains of interaction for productive work," said Anton Moskalenkov, Director, International Office, ASI.

He also noted that a great deal of attention is to be paid to joint work with Business Russia in preparation for the Strong Ideas for the New Time Forum, organized by ASI and the Roscongress Foundation. A joint session is planned, where Business Russia experts will act as moderators of the proposed ideas, and companies – members of the organization will be able to submit their ideas for consideration.
